The Village Base Camp Treks looks into the unique traditions and culture of Bhutan and the Bhutanese people. This tour starts at the lush green Paro valley where you have three nights stay and looking into the ruins of the famous Drukgyal Dzong, Ta Dzong (The ancient watchtower), museums, the traditional cantilevered where you witness the archery grounds and the monasteries.  The fourth day starts your trek to Shana following the beautiful river Paro, fields and villages. This trek takes you for six night and seven day where you go through various terrains of interior Bhutan, while staying overnight in camps, you experience the regions of Thangthangka, Jangothang - walk the Jolmolhari glacier and making it your base camp at 4,110m above sea level.

We make our way back to Shana and head to the capital city of Thimpu where you can take a rest from your trek, get treated to Bhutanese culture and traditions where you have lots of gems to see and take back with you as memories.

Level : Difficult ( What's this?) Easy: Flights / Vehicle / First Class Train based touring or walking on flat or gently graded terrain for up to a 1 or 2 hours. Comfortable accommodations with private bath facilities.
Moderate: Longer days of more rigorous touring, perhaps very rough roads or longer, steeper walks, some travel by overnight or day trains. May include stay in simple hotels with basic facilities at some destinations in camps with good facilities.
Difficult: Strenuous horse or camel riding, walking in mountains or lowland jungle for more than five hours a day. May include extensive camping or stay in lodges with basic facilities.
